Nicky Tsai is a visual artist whose main medium of expression is photography.
She holds a BFA in Photography from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology in 2020 and MA in photography from Musashino Art University in 2024.
With her work, she examines the physical and philosophical theories of time and ways to visualize the changes and storage of memories. Her recent work has continued to explore the complex relationship between human being and nature, personal feelings and science and technology, and the role of photography in the field of art healing.
Her work sits in between archives and images, concerning with the literariness of photography and committing to pure image expression.
